About us
RUIYI(SHANGHAI) was established in 2008 and is located in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone in Pudong New Area. The company has long been engaged in the R&D, production, and sales of intelligent control systems for marine equipment, ship power propulsion systems, and integrated solutions for clean energy. We are committed to decarbonizing shipping and improving energy efficiency in maritime transportation, as well as promoting the application of clean energy. We actively support the national strategic goals of "peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality."
Currently, the company has obtained ISO 9000 quality system certification, BV factory certification, and high-tech enterprise certification from the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. It also holds multiple patents, including five utility model patents and over 40 software copyrights and intellectual property rights. Our products have passed the product inspections and received certificates from nine major classification societies, including the China Classification Society (CCS), Norway’s DNV, and the UK’s Lloyd’s Register (LRs).

Patents and core intellectual property
Equipped on over 5,000 vessels worldwide
Core Technology
Brand-new space vector technology
The advanced vector algorithm ensures high torque at low frequencies, maximizes grid voltage utilization, and delivers optimized sinusoidal output—all while achieving the lowest possible switching losses. As a result, it reduces motor operating noise and minimizes heat generation.
Unique software dead-zone compensation
Dead-time is the primary culprit behind low-frequency pulsating torque generated by variable frequency drives. Our unique software-based dead-time compensation ensures maximum smoothness of torque even under low-frequency, high-speed operating conditions.
Excellent speed-tracking self-starting without a speed sensor
Our product can start motors that are already running, ensuring smooth and continuous operation of user equipment. It automatically recognizes the rotational speed and achieves stable speed tracking.
Automatic energy-saving operation
Unique software-based power factor regulation dynamically adjusts the power factor according to load changes, saving even more energy.
Voltage fluctuation suppression
The dynamic automatic voltage control (AVC) function ensures that when the input voltage fluctuates by ±20%, the output voltage fluctuation remains below ±5%.
Friendly human-machine interface, flexible input/output interfaces
The CD supports both Chinese and English display, and provides 8 digital inputs, 2 analog inputs, 3 digital outputs, and 2 analog outputs. The eight segments can be programmed by the user and feature an electric potentiometer setting mode.
Powered by DC power supply, saving on investment in backup power systems.
Built-in flexible PWM energy-regenerative braking—users can easily implement energy-regenerative braking by selecting the appropriate braking resistor.
Intelligent Lubrication for Industrial and Mining Equipment
It features protection functions including overvoltage, overcurrent, undervoltage, IGBT short-circuit, and inverse-time overload protection. Additionally, it can provide safe protection even in the event of a load short circuit or ground fault.

The concept of electric propulsion is showing a continuously growing trend in the market.
The bow and stern thruster system for the 40,000-ton self-discharging vessel built by CSSC Chengxi was designed by Ruiyi and the related equipment was packaged and produced by Ruiyi. During the design process, Ruiyi maintained thorough communication with the shipowner, the design institute, the shipyard, and the classification society, actively incorporating their optimization suggestions. Ruiyi tailored a bespoke bow and stern thruster system specifically for this vessel. During the sea trials, the entire bow and stern thruster system operated smoothly, and all performance indicators met both the design specifications and the actual operational requirements of the vessel. Chengxi Shipyard highly praised Ruiyi’s equipment performance and integrated packaging capabilities for the bow and stern thruster system.
